Luke McConnell
Sports have been a part of my life from a very young age. Putting a voice to the games I watched was always a passion of mine and I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been given to this point in my career.

The game provides the excitement in my broadcasting, but the people and their stories are what make the broadcast rich and relatable to the fan listening at home. I want to tell the stories of people, not just describe what happens on the field or court.

Since 2018, I've had the privilege of being the voice of Southern Nazarene University football and men's and women's basketball. I've learned a lot and grown a lot in that time and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the players and coaches in those programs.

Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you enjoy my work.

In addition to play-by-play duties, I have also hosted a weekly sports show discussing everything happening in the world of sports, from the local D2 colleges to the NBA. Below is an example of the show to show the full range of content I covered each week.

Writing Samples
In addition to my play-by-play and radio work, I spent three years covering local sports in Oklahoma City for KWTV and News9.com. With a wide range of high school, college and professional sports in the area, I was able to cover a bit of everything, from high school football state championships, to Oklahoma Sooners football, to NCAA championships, to the NBA. My portfolio is wide-ranging, offering everything from basic game stories to in-depth features and columns.
